What is an iCal link?
An iCal link is a special internet address (URL) that looks similar to this: https://www.airbnb.com/calendar/ical/12345678.ics?s=11111111111111111111
Each room on Airbnb has a unique link address. The link is made up of the:
Site Address: https://www.airbnb.com
Where on the site to look: /calendar/ical/
Unique ID number: 12345678
The internet calendar type: .ics
A code to create a search of the other party’s database: ?s=
Your unique room code number: 11111111111111111111
Where do I find it on Airbnb?
Each room iCal link is found inside your Airbnb Host Dashboard. Follow the steps below to access the link in your Airbnb host dashboard:
- Click on the Availability tab on your Airbnb Host Dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Sync Calendar section.
- Click on the Export Calendar section to find your property’s individual iCal link for Airbnb.
- Copy the iCal link in the window that opens to sync with other calendars.
Important: Please do not forget to add (export) your room iCal URLs from Coliving Booking to Airbnb!

Follow this guide to add your iCalendar to your room.
Warning – ‘blocked’ dates not automatically inserted into Airbnb
Airbnb will automatically update their calendar for ‘bookings’ made on other sites. BUT, they DO NOT guarantee ‘blocked’ dates you’ve made on other sites will be synchronized – Source.
The solution around this problem is to use a professional Channel Manager program to manage the synchronization between. Channel Managers hand both bookings and blocked dates and share the results with all their connected platforms equally.
